This is a reminder Pee Wee forms have been sent home with elementary students grades 3-6. These forms are due back next Friday September 4th.
Thank you

Concord High School: Had a little "hiccup" with the Home Access Center (HAC), but parents are letting us know that it's up and running now. Thanks for your patience.

Concord High School students: This is just a friendly reminder, if you would like to check your schedule before Monday, you can access that schedule through your HAC account. If you can't access your account, every 7th-12th grade student will receive a schedule Monday morning. All 7th-12th grade students will report to the new gym Monday morning. Remember to wear a mask. We will practice social distancing as you arrive. We are so excited to see you!

This is a reminder that the first day of school will be this Monday August 24th. We are excited and ready to see our students! Friendly reminder that all students 3rd grade and above will be required to wear masks on campus when social distancing cannot be achieved. All students, regardless of age, will be required to wear a mask while riding the bus. If your child is exempt from wearing a mask due to one of the governor's exemptions, please provide a note from your PCP to the front office. If your child needs a mask, the school will provide one. Also, students who are car-riders will need to enter through the front of their school buildings so that their temperature can be taken. Thank you for your cooperation in keeping our students and staff safe.

Parents
Concord Schools is required to notify the Arkansas Department of Health when one of our students tests positive for COVID-19. If your child tests positive, you must notify the school so that we can ensure proper procedures are followed on campus. The number to call and report is our helpline number at 501-454-3716. If for some reason you do not get an answer, please email at helpline@concordschools.org
We will need the following information:
Date Symptoms Started
Last Date on Campus
Date Tested
Testing Site Name and Location
Date Test Results Received
Probable Close Contacts (if student or staff at Concord)
This information will help us determine if/when your child can return to school for on-site learning.

Please check your children daily at home for symptoms and please notify the school if they test positive for Covid-19 or if they were in contact with someone that tested positive.

This is a reminder for parents and students interested or have signed up for Concord Virtual Academy. There will be training sessions on both this Wednesday and Thursday in the cafeteria. Training for high school students grades 7-12 will be from 10:00-11:00 and elementary students will be from 11:00-12:00 on both days. You will only need to attend one of the days. We will also use this time to hand out Chromebooks to students who requested. If you have not signed up for CVA, but plan on attending, please go to the district website under "Re-entry Plan" and fill out the form.

Things to consider....

Teachers reviewing content for virtual courses.

Concord Schools will be providing training sessions for its parents and students who have signed up for Concord Virtual Academy. This will be the time in which Chromebooks will be handed out to those who need them and students will learn how to access the online curriculum. The dates will be August 19th and 20th in the cafeteria. We have scheduled two days to allow for flexibility in schedules. You will only need to attend one day. The times will be 10:00-11:00 for high school and 11:00-12:00 for elementary for both days. We will be limiting the seating to student and one parent/guardian. Parents interested in enrolling their child in CVA can find the link on the District's website within the Re-entry Plan.

Concord Elementary will have its Open House next Tuesday August 11th from 5:00-7:00 PM. We are asking that only the student and one parent/guardian attend this function and everyone wear a mask while adhering to social distancing guidelines. Students will be provided with beginning of the school year paperwork as well as meet their teacher. We encourage all students both on-site and virtual to attend. This would also be the perfect opportunity for parents who have questions regarding virtual academy to meet with Mr. Fletcher.
Thank you
