It's almost time for the annual Art Extravaganza! Come out on April 9th from 5-7 PM to celebrate all our Concord artists and make a craft or two!

Just a few pics of the Senior Seminar class giving back to their community as they cleaned the city park. This was in preparation for the Concord Farmers' Market's Community Easter Event. Please see their page for details, and bring your children to enjoy. 🐣

Our students have been working very hard on their Science Fair projects for several weeks. These are the 3rd place winners for 5th and 6th. Great job! These students will be participating in the regional science fair next month! 💜💛

Our kindergartners had a magical St. Patrick’s Day! ☘️
We celebrated by reading fun stories, building leprechaun traps to try and catch a sneaky visitor, making colorful rainbow jello cups, and enjoying some “magic” punch. The classroom was filled with laughter, creativity, and a little bit of mischief!
Such a fun and memorable day for our little learners! ☘️ 🌈

Celebrating Dr. Seuss 📘📗📕📙
Mrs. Yoder's 2nd Grade class
Wacky clothes, high-flying learning, and lots of laughs — I’d call that a successful Wednesday! 💙✈️

Concord Kindergarteners had fun celebrating Fox in Socks and One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish by Dr. Seuss. Students wore mismatched socks and enjoyed listening to guest readers. They also sorted and graphed Goldfish crackers. It was a great day of reading and learning!💜💛📗📘📙

Our kindergartners kicked off Dr. Seuss Week in style at Concord School by celebrating Cat in the Hat Day! We enjoyed special guest readers, created Cat in the Hat headbands, and decorated tasty cracker hats. It was a fantastic first day filled with reading, creativity, and lots of smiles! 💜💛📕📘📙📗

Read Across America Week is happening at Concord Elementary 💜💛📕📗📘📙

Today our 10th grade students had the opportunity to visit University of Arkansas Community College at Batesville (UACCB) for an Early College Preview Day!
During their visit, students learned about the Secondary Career Center programs available through UACCB, as well as the general education courses they can begin taking while still in high school. This is a great opportunity for students to get a head start on college credits and explore potential career pathways.
Mrs. Johnson will begin meeting individually with all 10th grade students this week to discuss course options for next year. If your student is interested in taking college classes, they must let Mrs. Johnson know and ensure they have the appropriate Accuplacer or ACT scores required by the college.
We are excited to help our students explore these opportunities and start planning for their futures! 🎓
