Our Next Gen Project Prevent group proudly presented “Drug Free Zone” signs to the City of Concord for display in the city park! We’re incredibly thankful to Mr. Willie Baker for accepting the signs on behalf of the city, and to Ms. Langley and all our special guests for joining us to hear our students speak passionately about the importance of prevention. A huge shoutout to Ms. Kimberly Sims and the Crowley’s Ridge Development Council for helping organize this meaningful event and generously donating the signs. Together, we’re making a difference—one sign at a time! 💜💛

Freshen Up Friday!!! FCCLA provided plants and volunteer hour opportunities to add some life to the front of our main High School building. It was so fun to see kiddos take pride in making their campus look a little more lively, we can't wait to see how this project grows!

Dear Concord School District Community, It is with heavy hearts that we share the heartbreaking news of the passing of one of our beloved 2023 graduates, ShyAnn Lee. ShyAnn’s life was tragically cut short in a car accident last night, leaving all of us deeply shaken and mourning this profound loss. ShyAnn was a bright and joyful presence in our schools and throughout the Concord community. Her beautiful smile and warm spirit had a way of lighting up every room she entered, and she touched the lives of many with her kindness, laughter, and strength. Our thoughts and heartfelt condolences go out to ShyAnn’s family, friends, and all who knew and loved her. We join together in grief and remembrance, holding space for the deep sorrow felt by our students, staff, and families. In support of our community during this difficult time, additional counselors will be available on campus today. Please don’t hesitate to reach out — we are here for one another. With deepest sympathy, The Concord School District

Thank you to the University of Arkansas for sending biomedical engineer, Corrin Bowen, to present to our students about the many types of engineering degrees the U of A offers. Our students were involved in a hands on experiment using limited resources to produce the most efficient product. Congratulations to Darcy, Taya, Oscar, Phenyx, and Jennings for winning this contest!💜💛
