On this Veterans Day, Concord students honored servicemen and women and remembered their duty, time, and sacrifice today. Speakers included (from left to right) Carson Stephenson, Matt Anderson, Dwain Griffis, Wayne Pugh, Josh Webb, and Mike Garner who shared their service experience with classrooms of students. Students also participated in other activities, like answering Veterans Day trivia and practicing proper handling of the flag. A special additional thanks also go out to Concord's own staff members Lacey Hart and Chad Mansfield for their military service. #freedomisntfree #thankyouveterans

We had a great day celebrating learning today as the 11th annual cardboard boat races took place at Mr. Heath Grant's beautiful Bullard Lake. Paul Stude's creation took first place. Thank you Heath for your time and efforts preparing for our race. Today was engineering and creativity at its best!
