May is Mental Health Awareness Month. We are excited to have Shelby Barnhill, a Licensed Crisis Interventionist, host a Parent Night on Tuesday, May 7th at 6:30 at the Concord Cafeteria. Shelby will discuss mental health concerns such as depression, anxiety, suicide, and relationships. Refreshments will be provided! If you have any questions about this presentation or questions you would like for Shelby to answer during her presentation, please email those to priscilla.johnson@concordschools.org.

The junior class had a great day at UACCB's Junior Preview Day. Our students previewed classes and programs from cosmetology to chemistry and all things in between. It was a great day of learning what the future could entail!

Our Myers Davis transition class worked hard this past semester to create and run their Smooth Brew Coffee shop. The class chose to donate their profits the Concord Missionary Baptist Church and to the Independence County Humane Society. This morning Senior Hannah Baker presented Mr. Dloyd Sparks with the donation to Concord Missionary Baptist Church. We are so proud of these students and their giving hearts. 💜💛
