Based on recent data provided by achi.net, new COVID-19 cases within District boundaries has declined over the past two weeks. Today Concord Schools is at 38 new COVID-19 cases per 10,000 residents (orange status). District policy states that once we fall below 50 new cases per 10,000 residents (red status) within district boundaries, the wearing of masks becomes optional. Effective immediately until further notice, the wearing of masks is optional. The administration will look at the data on a regular basis to determine if there will be a need for future masking. If you decide your child will not be wearing a mask please be aware quarantine guidelines still must be followed. The District still encourages the use of face masks when unable to socially distance. We will still continue to check temperatures, disinfect as well as encourage good hygiene. I want to personally thank all the parents, students, and staff for their commitment in getting our numbers down. Travis Fletcher Concord Superintendent

After careful thought and consideration, Concord Schools has adopted a Quarantine Mitigation Plan based on daily Covid-19 cases within our District boundaries. This is not a blanket mask mandate but based on local data. Currently the number of daily cases for CSD is over 100 per 10,000 residents. Due to these numbers, students K-12 and all faculty will be required to wear a mask starting this Wednesday. Attached is the Plan as well as the chart used to determine when masks will be required.
