We would like to thank Lacey Hall from the Cleburne County Extension Office for visiting with our students and teaching them ways to keep healthy! She has been busy this week meeting with all K-6 students to help them "Pick a Better Snack" and our 7th and 8th graders to help them "Re-Think Your Drink". We are thankful for our partnership!

Coach Cornett would like to recognize the 2014 State Basketball Championship Team at homecoming on October 13th. Please share this message with former players and fans. Homecoming begins at 6:00. Team recognition will occur between the homecoming walk and the purple and gold games.

Just a reminder that Seniors will be going to UACCB tomorrow morning for their Free Accuplacer test. Scores from this assessment can help with scholarships and college admissions! Permission forms were sent home last week. We will leave the school at 8:15 and should return by lunch.
Come join us for our Fall Jr/Sr Parent Night. We will be here to discuss concurrent credit, honor graduate requirements, AR Scholars, scholarships, financial aid, and much more! We will meet in the High School Library from 6-7. Hope parents and students can join us!

Fifth and sixth grade GT students are hard at work designing, measuring, and creating boats for the annual cardboard boat races.





Today was the first Fellowship of Christian Athletes meeting at CHS, which is open to ALL students. A huge thank you to Oak Grove, Concord General Baptist, and Drasco General Baptist Churches for funding the interactive bibles for any student who participates. Thirty students attended the first meeting. Thank you Mrs. Kelli white for getting FCA organized again here at CHS.

Elementary students had a blast at the Cleburne County Fair today! We were able to see and support our FFA show animals and exhibits. Our students really put on a show and represented Concord!










As part of the Brandon Burlsworth Foundation, Concord Schools will be sending 25 our our students to Fayetteville this Saturday to watch the Razorbacks play football! Thank you Mr. Joe, Ms. Jacobson, Mrs. Simpson, and Mr. Simpson for chaperoning our students!

Our donations not only save lives but also help our seniors earn potential scholarship money! Congratulations to our students and staff for another remarkable year. Our high school has been ranked #12 in the state among traditional schools . Our students and staff perform at the highest level year in and year out. Thank you to ALL our teachers, support staff, parents, and most importantly our students for representing Concord!

This year, the Concord Student Council would like to host veterans willing to speak to classrooms of students on Friday, November 10, 2023. Last year was an amazing experience for our students to hear personal stories from our veterans in small groups in a classroom setting. The first day of school will be this Wednesday, August 16th! Here are a few things to keep in mind:
- Classes begin at 8:00. If you plan for your child to eat breakfast at school, have
them at school no later than 7:45.

form, and the student handbook acknowledgement form.
