More Kindergarten Treasures from Mrs. Sartain's class...

Read Across America Week has been fun...and it is not over yet! Clues have been left all around campus, and each class has (or will go) on a treasure hunt! They followed the clues to a "treasure" found in the library. Every student has (or will have) the opportunity to pick a book from the "Treasure Chest" to keep as his or her very own. This is part of the Kindergarten Treasure Hunt.
Tomorrow is "Dress as Your Favorite Book Character Day!"

We are celebrating reading from head to toe this week! Today was hat day! Pictured are 1st, 2nd, and 4th graders.

Tomorrow, March 7th, The NED Show will be here to present to our K-6 students!
NED's Mindset Mission is a character education program that centers around three important messages that have lifelong relevance: Never give up, Encourage others and Do your best. During the assembly, students will learn about the importance of these three life skills while also enjoying storytelling, magic, humor and yo-yo tricks.
Our school will receive this assembly at no cost because another school "paid it forward" to us. Our students will have the opportunity to "pay it forward" to another school by purchasing a NED-messaged yo-yo, which will be available for sale until March 15th.
