Mrs. Griffis' 7th grade KeyCode had a special visitor on Monday, Mr. Brian Marsh, the President & CEO of Goodwill Industries of Arkansas. Earlier this year Ammie Dillon wrote a letter to Mr. Marsh telling him how much she enjoyed shopping at Goodwill. Mr. Marsh was so impressed with the letter he asked to visit the class.
Each student was gifted a Goodwill t-shirt, thanks to his generosity! Ammie also received several Goodwill gifts, including a $25 gift card!
Mr. Marsh took the time to share the mission and vision behind Goodwill. The students were impressed that Goodwill does more than sell items in their thrift store. Goodwill also has two high schools and offers a variety of skills training.
